Roisin Eivers – Senior Physiotherapist
Roisin is a Physiotherapist and a Clinical Pilates Instructor in Mat Pilates, Reformer Pilates, Chair, Cadillac and Trapeze. She graduated from the Royal College of surgeons in Ireland in 2013. Roisin went to work in private and practice in New Zealand for 4 years after graduating. There she worked with the Auckland Netball team and was lucky enough to travel around New Zealand with them. Roisin returned to Ireland where she then worked as a Physiotherapist and clinical Pilates Instructor.
Roisin’s expertise is in the rehabilitation from pain and injury. She has a vast array of experiences across a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions. She loves to share her joy of Pilates and movement with others. Roisin has also obtained post graduate qualifications in numerous specialties including trigger point dry needling, the McKenzie Institute mechanical diagnosis and therapy of the lumbar spine, Pre and Post – natal pregnancy pilates with Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute and Sports taping and Sports Traumatology. At present she is completing her training in Shockwave Therapy.
Roisin is a keen sportswomen. She completed the Dublin City Marathon in 2019 and has also completed numerous triathlons including two Ironman 70.3 events. She grew up competing in many horse riding disciplines, including Tetrathlon and Pentathlon, holding the Irish Individual Woman’s Tetrathlon title as well as multiple team National titles , also having represented Ireland internationally Most recently she has discovered tennis, which she greatly enjoys! She is the mother of two young children and , through her work, she loves to help other mothers and expectant mothers .
